Linville second in $3,500-to-win Crate Late Model special at Thunder Mountain
Dodging rain showers all weekend, Dustin Linville was able to compete in a single event on Sunday afternoon at Thunder Mountain Speedway (Corbin, Ky.) for a $3,500 prize in the 604 Late Model division.
Qualifying fifth-quickest among 22 Late Models, Linville started the 30-lap feature from the third-row and moved up three positions to land runner-up. Dustin trailed race-winner Jason Welshan while Logan Walls completed the podium.
