Linville storms to runner-up finish at Rockcastle Speedway
With his original plans being wiped out due to rain, Dustin Linville traveled to Rockcastle Speedway (Mt. Vernon, Ky.) on Saturday afternoon to compete in Pro Late Model division for a $2,000-to-win prize.
In a strong 28-car field, Linville faced mechanical issues in his heat race before recovering in his B-Main to earn a transfer spot in the main event. Rolling off 19th in the feature, Dustin charged through the field and challenged AJ Hicks for the lead in the waning laps before settling for a runner-up finish.
