Linville scores runner-up finish at Rockcastle

Kicking off the Fourth of July weekend, Dustin Linville invaded Rockcastle Speedway (Mount Vernon, Ky.) on Saturday afternoon for the second annual Tommy Lanham Memorial. Reeling in a podium finish in the $5,000-to-win feature, Dustin notched a runner-up finish, trailing Michael Chilton to the checkers. (Chris Anderson photo)

The following night at Lake Cumberland Speedway (Burnside, Ky.) for the Valvoline Iron-Man Southern Series-sanctioned Hall of Fame 40, Linville timed in second fastest in time trials before placing second in his heat. With $5,000 on the line in the feature, Dustin got collected with the wall that forced him to retire on the sixth lap.
